It was not easy to assemble. Though it is a very cute piece, it trembles quite often, possibly due to the heavy table top and only 4 thin metal legs to support.It is sad that I have to give this desk a 2 star review, because I love it! It really is a beautiful desk. The reason for my 2 star review is that first after unboxing, I noticed one of the wood pieces came damaged. It was on the underside of the piece so I decided to let that go, but I of course found that disappointing since it is a new item. Second, the assembly is very difficult. I tried it and step 1 made no sense which made me unable to move forward. I decided to hire someone to assemble it for me, which made it easy but of course cost more money. Last, the glass piece for the top of the desk was highly defective! It was not cut in a perfect rectangle, so it did not go down and fit all the way in the metal area it is supposed to fit in! Luckily, the guy I hired to assemble was able to modify the desk a bit with his tools enough to MAKE it fit. That should not happen!! Yes, I could have returned the desk and gotten a new one... but that is a lot of hassle after unboxing and already hiring someone to come out to assemble. The desk itself is beautiful and looks great in my office, so at least the struggle was worth it. I only recommend buying if you are ok with possible return/exchange in case of defects, AND if you are great at furniture assembly or can hire someone to help.The package came earlier than expected but thats the only good thing I have to say so far about this desk. The box looked like it haf been opened before possibly. The package was left outside when it just started to rain but the box was already messed up before the rain. It was left by our garage and not underneath the front porch awning. It was damaged on yhe corners and ends. After opening I found no directions. I'm pretty handy so I figured it shouldn't be too hard to put together. There are a lot of parts and hardware so I tried to look up the assembly manual online. I couldnt find it. I started putting it together and found that i am missing a pair of slides for the drawer. Then i found some damage to the actual top of the desk. Then i realized that I'm missing a leg. So now i have multiple parts missing from a damaged desk and can't seem to get a hold of the company to fix the issue. This was supposed to be ready for my son so he can actually have a place to do his schoolwork properly instead of sitting on a couch or at the kitchen table. Now he is very upset that his desk/office can't be finished until we can get in contact with the company and wait for the parts to come in.Updated 9/13/20...I have now been trying for a week to reach customer service several times with no responses. So far I can't say horrible customer service because in order to say that they would actually need to have some customer service department. It appears that they have NO customer service. I would not recommend buying this product. Its not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other better desks out there that you can actually put together and use.First board in the box was damaged. Didn’t even go any further. Returned it for exchange. If exchange is I damaged I’ll change my review. Box was in good shape when delivered. UPDATE: second box was delivered damaged and desk was damaged. UPDATE: The third desk was delivered without flaws or broken pieces. I give the desk 3 stars because the drawer instructions are off. This caused a lot of headaches and it is the first step. The drawers could align better. Also just doesn’t feel as sturdy as it should be. It takes a long time to put together.In the ad photo, there's a lamp & coffee cup on the desk top. Well, if you need something out of the desk, both sides are hinged and lift up, meaning you have to move the lamp and anything else on the desk. Wish I was good at photos, I'd include one. If I worked at this desk daily, I would have returned it.This exceeded my expectations.. def looks more quality than the photos. Glass top is thick quality glass. Not super complicated to put together and also comes with a bag of spare peices..genius idea !!!Ordered a 52”... received 56” TWICE!! Pretty sound desk, but it took over 4 hours to assemble....The desk went together beautifully until it was time to put the drawer together. One side is a couple inch shorter than the other. One piece of wood. It is an extensive assemble, but not hard. I reached out to the company 2 days ago and still have heard nothing. This desk is worthless without the drawer. I will update if they make it right.Absolutely gutted, loved this table put it together which took a couple of hours, only to find the draws wouldn’t fit properly, then the ball bearings fell out the slider.Sent it back.I can now see others have had the same issue.
